Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

I looked this Chipotle up on yelp before going and thought "How can a Chipotle only have 3 stars?! Chipotle is amazing". However, the rating got confirmed after dining there. I ordered a carnitas bowl. The pork was not shredded properly and I needed a knife and fork to cut up the massive chunks of meat. There was no line when I went during lunch, but the parking lot is very busy so allow time to get in and out. I love Chipotle, but this location did not stand up to the others.

Other yelpers are right. This particular Chipotle location (Arapahoe & Yosemite) needs some work. Staff doesn't seem well trained and they are stingy on ingredients and lack the friendly attitude I experience at other locations. All you Qdoba lovers...Don't knock on Chipotle just because of this location. Drive a mile to Belleview & Ulster and you won't be dissapointed.

Just as good as all the OTHER Chipotles. And by other chipotles I am referencing in the fact no other chipotle location comes close to the smoky hill location and the original first location off university near DU BUT this chipotle is always cleaning whenever I walk in so that's always a great sign

This review is not for Chipotle in general, it is for this specific location. I don't know how one can manage to mess up a Chipotle so badly, but they certainly found a way. I had 3 orders and instead of letting me do one at a time they made me do all of them at once. 2 of them were incorrect. They then KNOWINGLY sold me stale chips. When I drove back to their location to swap them out for fresh chips the worker said, "Yeah I know. We don't actually have any fresh chips right now, but I think we might be trying to make some more." Meanwhile there is a customer next to me who is ordering more stale chips. They didn't seem to be bothered with charging full price and secretly selling stale chips. While she was in the back talking to the manager (who never even came out to apologize or show their face) another coworker was being rude to a lady in line, so much in fact that the lady looked up and made eye contact with me and we both looked at each other in shock. This is the closest Chipotle from my work but I will drive the extra couple of miles just to avoid their stale food and poor management. Get it together! You are ruining Chipotle!

This review is based on my visit there during a fundraiser for a local elementary school. Chipotle offered 50% of the night's sales to the school, they hosted families from 5pm-8pm. And I have to commend the grace with which the staff handled the HUGE crowd. We waited in line almost 30 minutes, but the staff was calm, friendly and efficient. I saw at least 50-75 families in the hour plus I was there with my family, so I can only imagine how many families they served during the 3 hours the fundraiser was in effect. I can't wait to hear how much they earned for the school, as it was an incredible gesture to the community! The food was hot, the ingredients were fresh and the staff seemed unaffected by the chaos of dozens of children and their families eating and waiting to be served. Thank you Chipotle!

I've never had anything that stuck out good or bad ... They just pleasantly serve me my food :) you watch them prepare it for you, so there is little possibility for them to really make a mistake. They offer margaritas and tequila now, it's a shame I stopped drinking, but they expanded their drink selection. It's always great and consistent food, the workers there do nothing out of the ordinary, I have no complaints. It's just like the many other chipotle locations in the area. I feel full and satisfied. Sometimes I don't like when they don't give me very much rice and beans. I might look like a thin female, but I am a fatty at heart, and I absolutely love to eat a lot of food.

I love this location because the staff is awesome and they are always willing to add extra rice, cheese, etc if you ask. I've never been greeted in a more friendly manner than the people who work here and they always have smiles on their faces. It's quick, cheap, and delicious. I never hesitate to come here.

One of my favs. If not the absolute best Mexican food but I love to eat here. I recommend getting chips with your burrito

Everyone knows what Chipotle tastes like, don't bother reviewing the food. This particular one has some of the worst service of all the Chipotle's I've been to. The staff couldn't care less about the product they serve. My burrito was so poorly wrapped that it fell apart as soon as I unwrapped it. I only got three things in it too, I'm simple like that. The high schooler that made it looked like he didn't give a crap, same with the person I checked out with. Just don't go to this location, there are other Chipotle's with much better service.

Tried the Greek salad with steak added mushrooms only 8 bucks. You basically make it as healthy as you want. If you like middle eastern / Israeli food great food for the price. Good place to come to if you want a break from junk processed food. The selling point were the waiters behind the counter who were welcoming and happy to give out samples to make sure I like it. I will definitely return.

HOLY SH#T!!!. I can not believe how I was just treated at this location. This is my go-to location. My wife works nights, so she is on her way out. I have three little boys under the age of 5 (the baby isn't eating chipotle) and they want tacos. I drive to this location with my two older boys. I was RUSHED through my order. My wife wrote down specifically what she wanted on her taco salad. After putting on the lettuce he wants to know my second order. By the end, both orders were wrong. His attitude/look was so angry, I didn't even order what I wanted to eat. By time I paid, he left to the back. I explained to the manager that they should allow customers to order their meals one-at-a-time. As I walked out, my server came back to the front and waved his arms up in the air like "what are you going to do about it." I have never felt so disrespected at a restaurant, and with my two little boys, worried. Can not, will not, eat here again. Will go to Jimmy John's next door. Or, even drive further south on Yosemite to Little Anita's. Really, I felt threatened at this location with my children

Was in last night to grab dinner on the way home. There were 4-5 people ahead of me, and it was moving very slow. When I finally ordered, the counter help were confused with no management or guidance. I ordered chicken tacos (nothing out of the ordinary), but was told by the server that they were out of chicken and my order would take another 10 minutes. Others behind me were experiencing the same thing with their orders as well. I chose to wait since I'd already invested 10 minutes at that point. I notice the cook was really upset... not sure why but he wasn't hiding his anger very well. He was fuming about something, and his attitude was frustrating the rest of the team. I think the biggest thing missing here was a the lack of age, experience, and leadership Overall, the experience was very poor. A trend I've noticed at other Chipotles in the last 6 months. One bad experience is understandable and forgivable... but this is becoming a trend.

It's a Chipotle. Complaints about staff last year probably don't apply anymore. They seemed fine to me. Maybe they don't have an overly friendly staff, but I've never seen them do anything unfriendly. I haven't been to this location during busy hours so maybe things change when they are slammed.

This is not a well managed location. I've been here 3 or 4 times now and don' think I'll go back. One time I came and they were out of guacamole, twice they were out of hot sauce. Their portions vary too much with every visit. The place is always disorganized.

Overall, I give this location four stars. Most of the time the service is super fast. On occasion though, I do find that the employees are a bit slow moving--not good for business around lunch time. But, I will say that the food is always fresh and I have no complaints. The food is always hot and ready to serve. They do stay on top of that. The facility is clean and I think for the amount of food you get the prices are very reasonable.

Worst experience among all of the Chipotle's I have ever been to! Ordered online to save some time(!!) and turned out that these people don't even check if anyone bothered to take their time and use their online ordering system. I had to wait 15 people in line and no one could make me a freaking steak burrito!! No manager came to apologize, and like this is not enough my order was all wrong.. Don"t bother to come if you are in a hurry or don't even use the online ordering with this store.. Apparently employees are not trained for this easiest tool!

I have to agree with my husband. On numerous occasions the staff has forgotten to give us chips, sour, or guac. (We usually order the three a a side.) The portions are also extremely small compared to other locations. I generally skip the beans and my bowls are so light you don't know there's food in them until they're opened. Nonetheless, this is the closest location to our home and the one we visit most. Convenience trumps service sometimes, I guess. I've just learned to check the back before I head home.

Stopped in for lunch yesterday. I asked a question to the guy behind the counter and he really could not give me a good explanation or answer. They seemed a little skimpy on the serving size for a $9+ lunch. (I should not have ordered the side of guacamole for $1.80). I do like that they have brown rice as an option. This location is probably a little easier to get in and out.

Clean quick and efficient. A great location.

I love Chipotle, but this particular store isn't exactly great. I give it 2 stars because of the ingredients, which is the same at any Chipotle. My issue is that the service is not very good comparative to other stores: 1. The staff seems to have it's head in the clouds half the time. I end up repeating myself over and over and it takes longer to get my food. Also, some of the staff can't wrap a burrito to save their life. The burritos end up immediately splitting or falling apart as soon as you bite into them. 2. I've ordered chips, salsa or something on the side and they forget to put it in the bag, I end up driving home before I realize it. 3. Beyond the dazed looks, forgetfulness, and poor preparation I don't find the staff very friendly. They mostly just stare at you. 4. The manager (A red haired man with a goatee) is just rude, he has a constant grimace on his face. I've been to the store a lot because it's right across the street from my house and I will say "Hi" when I come in, or "Have a good night" and the manager will just walk away without saying a word. Although I love Chipotle, I would say only go to this one if you have to, it's sub par compared to the rest of the chain.

This review is for the location in Greenwood Village, CO as Chipotle is typically one of my favorite restaurants. The staff at this location cared not about the quality of the food I ordred. My burrito was overstuffed to the point the tortilla was tearing. The person saw it and ignored it. There was too much sour cream on it which made the rest of the burrito cold before I was 1/4 way through. The veggies and steak were old and rubbery. If this were my first trip to Chipotle I would never return. Thankfully, I've had so many good experiences at other locations I will return. Just not to the one in Greenwood Village.

Out with the fresh (Baja Fresh Mexican Grill) in with the new (Chipotle Mexican Grill...sounds kinda strange, but a nice upgrade to the location. The Chipotle in Greenwood village, next to Barnes& Noble and Garbonzos has always been successful packing in the ravaging burrito eaters looking for a quick break from their keyboards and screens... but its always lacked a nice patio sharing confines with Garbonzos and Starbucks at the old location. Well...with Baja Fresh long gone Chipotle packed up and moved locations. Opening July 1st for free burritos (most people were out of town and I think they should have extended the grand opening to Monday...just my opinion) Chipotle has new digs! As usual it offers a clean unique industrial design...my only grip are the power cords hanging down to the lights, I think they could have hid those with some piping. The patio is the difference maker, spacious, open and covered. The patio door is a bit inconspicuous without an obvious handle, but I think they will address this. As for the food its what you can expect from Chipotle, fast, fresh, above average quality for the price, and tasty tex-mexican food.
